Oh Singapura

Recently we went on a road trip to Singapore but this time without Kancil's help (our close friend who works there). We used the GPS to navigate us to get there. This would be our second trip to Singapore. Even though Singapore its not so far away but its a country with its modern buildings and ways compared to Malaysia. I always like to observe each country that I travel and make a comparison but in a good way. My husband says there is no wrong or right way a country should be. Its just that we are different in cultures, language and customs. I try to always educate my family especially both of my sons to respect people cultures that way they know how important it is to take care of their own.
Singapore from the history part we know what its used to be but what I like about it is that eventhough its a modern country it treasures what we once shared before...especially the food and its cultures. We had a great weekend. It was a free and easy outing. We hang around Orchard road eating our block ice cream which was actually very yummy and costs only $1. We went to Jurong Bird Park. Studio M hotel had a given us a unique experience because its room its not any ordinary hotel room that we have stayed before. Our last day we went to Sentosa and bought chocolates and candies.

you win some you lose some..

Its been a while since I've updated my blog. A lot of things happened which I am not able to express it into words. As usual my life it gets hectic during the first 6 months of the year. The other 6 months hopefully will be smoother. So I will lose some but will win some..either way I'll always try my best to be the best. Alhamdullilah I've made it thru' half of 2011 not that everything went as I planned but I am always grateful for the outcomes. Still trying and struggling as a working mom and teacher. I try most of the time to just stay calm even though there have been outbursts but its still normal to me. I am so looking forward to be goin' back home during this coming school holiday. Can't wait to be meeting with my family and eating my favorite food.
For now I can only pray for the best in life..insyAallah...and the best for my husband and kids..so we will be one happy family:) oh yeah one more thing I almost forgot... Happy Mother's day to all moms out there..
